Coming back to downtown Flint this St. Patrick’s Day is the 34th annual Pot O’ Gold four mile run and walk! There are some races that you run and you’re done, and then there are races that are much more than just a race, more of like an experience. The Pot O’ Gold is definitely an experience that you won’t want to miss this year, and here are the top eight reasons why:
– Free leprechaun hat to the first 500 to register!
– It gives U of M fans a reason to wear green.
– Every finisher gets a medal.
– Take part in a 30+ year Flint tradition!
– You get to work off your beer calories before the race instead of after.
– Hang out with other runners and walkers afterwards at the Flint Masonic Temple, or at one of many bars downtown Flint.
– A safe place to show off your beard, kilt, or green hair.
– A fun family event to show your kids St. Patrick’s Day isn’t just about green beer.
